Eric Maurer

Executive Director

Eric Maurer joined JTConnect in July 2016 with an aspiration to connect more teens to experiences to explore, deepen and celebrate their Judaism. Under his leadership JTConnect has expanded its impact in the community, growing participation and diversifying program offerings.

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Hartford, Eric holds dual Master’s degrees from Brandeis University’s Hornstein Program in Jewish Professional Leadership and Near Eastern & Judaic Studies. He has a Master’s Concentration in Israel Education from the iCenter for Israel Education. Eric teaches a course at the Maurice Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies as an Adjunct Professor.

Committed to giving back and building Jewish community, Eric is the volunteer advisor to the Alpha Epsilon Pi Jewish Fraternity at the University of Hartford, serves on the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) Advisory Board and is a founding steering committee member of JewGood: Young Professionals Connecting through Philanthropy.

Eric lives in West Hartford with his wife Becca and son Amichai.
