Cara Levine

Program Coordinator and JTConnect Educator

Cara Levine resides in Rockland County, NY just outside of New York City. Currently, she is a junior at the University of Hartford majoring in Judaic Studies and is also a member of the honors program. As a sophomore, Cara spent the year abroad in Israel studying at Tel Aviv University. She is currently a teacher at Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford and previously taught at Beth El Temple Religious School. Cara has also held positions at Camp Ramah in Nyack, NY, as well as the Orangetown Jewish Center. In addition, she has been involved with the USY as well as the synagogues youth group where she has help multiple board positions. At the University of Hartford, she is very active with the on-campus Jewish life where she participates with both Chaba and Hillel. Cara enjoys spending time in Israel and teaching others about Judaism. When not in school, Cara remains very active within the local Jewish community.
